Details on Joining the club:
To join the club you need to submit an application and attend a Board of Directors Meeting prior to the first reading of your application (the schedule is posted on this web site). To submit an application, you must have a private pilot's license, and you must have another club member to act as your sponsor. If you already know somebody in the club, great. If not, start attending meetings and other club functions and meeting some of our members. Prospective members are always welcome at any meeting. In fact even if you already do know some members it is highly recommend that you still attend some meetings before you join to get an idea of how the club works.
As far as cost, there is a $500 initiation fee, payable at the time your application has its first reading. At the next meeting, your application is read a second time, and voted on without you present. Dues are currently $45 per month, which covers our fixed expenses, such as insurance and building rent.
